THE LAST DAYS OF THE ROMANOVS
UK: Hutchinson,2009
USA: St Matin’s Press, 3 February 2009,
as The Last Days of the Romanovs: Tragedy
at Ekaterinburg
This is the story of one of the most shocking
murders of the twentieth century - murders
that set their stamp on a violent century and
which, to this day, are defined by the savage
and brutal killing of innocent children.
Ekaterinburg is history through the keyhole.
It tells the the Romanov story in a new and
dramatic way, as it has never been told before.
It starts on the 4th July 1918 and will chart the life of the Russian Imperial Family within the
confines of the Ipatiev House in Ekaterinburg,
stripping away our romanticized view of them
and focusing on the final tense, oppresive
thirteen days of their lives.
